Lundy carpenter Pete Lambden spotted a Hoopoe on the path in St Helen's Church this morning. By the time that I'd re-located it, it was outside the Tavern on the path down to Millcombe. Several visitors got a chance to see the bird through the windows of the Marisco before it flew into St Helen's Field. It returned to the path at least twice during lunchtime, once persued by a Carrion Crow.
awww, so pretty:)
